Clams are surprisingly high in iron. Clams are a good source of phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium, as well. Clam soup with spiced pepper/ chilly & tangy Tomato gives a classic simplicity and tasty flavor. You can serve the spicy soup along a light salad.
Clam stock 4 cups,
3 green chillies finely chopped
1 medium tomato finely diced
1 onion finely chopped
little capsicum (1/2) finely chopped.
1 small tbsp jeera (cumin seed)
4 flakes garlic finely chopped
salt to taste
Pepper powder
1 small tbsp Corn mixed in 1/4 water

- Take a vok, add 4 tbsp oil, toss the tomatoes along green chillies, add salt.
- When you see the tomatoes are almost into sauce consistency, add the onions and garlics and saute for 4-5 mins under high flame.
- Add jeera, pepper powder, capsicum fry for 2 mins more.
