Chicken Manchurian Dry

Chicken Manchurian is one of the most popular Chinese chicken recipe, but it is usually prepared with a little sweet and sour sauce. For this recipe you can also add capsicum and carrots (chopped into longitudinally thin). But I haven't added them here.

Ingredients:
Chicken pieces (Medium)- 1/2 kg
1/4 cup maida
1/4 cup corn flour
2 tbsp chilli powder
2 medium onion finely chopped
8 garlic flakes finely chopped
1/2 " ginger finely chopped
3 green chilli chopped
1 tbsp vinegar
3 tbsp chilli sauce
2 tbsp soya sauce
3 tbsp tomato sauce
Coriander leaves finely chopped- 5 tbsp

Method:
  • Mix Maida, Corn flour and chilli powder along chicken pieces, add little diluted lemon juice (1:1, Water:lemon juice) while mixing the content. Add salt to taste. Mix the contents well, deep fry the chiken pieces well and keep aside.
  • Take a kadai, add the chopped garlic & ginger, green chillies and fry for 3-4 mins. Add the onions and fry till they turn transparent.
  • Add the Soya, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, salt to taste. Saute the contents well in medium flame for 2-3 mins.
  • Now add the fried chicken pieces. and fry well for 3-4 minute in high flame. The saucy content should seep well along the chicken. Now you see that the dish looks dry. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot along meals.
Enjoy the delicious Chicken Manchurian as a starter, It is tooo yumm, I bet you all will love it!!
