Peanut rice



Boil rice in adequate water so that it is not sticky.

  • Roast peanuts and coarsely powder in a mixer and keep aside.
  • Heat 2-3 tb sp oil along 1 tb sp ghee and add mustard seeds. Add channa dhal, urad dal, some peanuts and fry till dals turn golden brown colour.
  • Add 1/2 tb sp turmaric powder(choice).
  • Add green/red chillies, grated coconut(choice),salt to taste and fry for a while. Add peanut powder fry for 2-3 min, then add rice and 1/2 tb sp garam masala powder. Mix well.
