Chicken sukkha

Chicken sukkha (coastal delicacy)..... my all time fav

For 1/2 kg chicken:
Fry medium cinnamon bark, 3-4 cloves, smashed 4-6 garlic, chopped onions, add 1/2 tb sp tarmaric powder fry till onion medium brown then add chicken pieces, salt to taste and half lemon squeezed... cook for 20 min till chicken done and keep aside..

[If more chicken stock left use it as soup] :P

Masala: Fry 8 red chilli, 1 big tb sp coriander seeds, 1 small tb sp jeera, 1/4 tb sp fenugreek seeds, half granted coconut, 1 medium fried onion, tamarind pulp medium.. grind them partially..

Take a pan fry 6-7 smashed garlic, curry leaves (better to chop them finely) now add the cooked chicken and mix with the masala, salt to taste and cook for 15 mins more to a boil..

[Choice]Toppings if needed.. can add 2 green chillies finally which gives good aroma... also can garnish with finally chopped coriander leaves...

Note: Garlic if smashed gives more aroma and tastes better than the chopped one :)

  1. Good one.. Let me give 1 recipe of mine, try it out and let me know how it is :)

Ingredients: 1 tomato, 1 onion, 1/2 kg chicken( medium pieces), 1/4 ts salt, 1/4 ts turmeric powder, 1/4 ts ginger and garlic paste, coriander leaves, 1/4 ts chilli powder(You can use green chillies chopped into small pieces instead of chilli powder as well), 1/4 grated coconut, 1/2 lemon

cut tomato into small pieces, cut onions vertically( into thin long slices)and fry them in a pan using cooking oil for about 2-3 mins. then mix cleaned chicken into it, boil this for about 15-20 mins keeping pan's top closed, keeping medium flame. Once chicken is properly cooked ( Not by tasting it ;) by feeling cooked chicken's aroma ) add garlic-ginger paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, grated coconut and mix it well, keeping it on a low flame. Now squeeze lemon piece over it, and then add salt and mix well. Time to add chopped coriander leaves over it :) Keep the pan on low flame until chicken dries out completely. here you go.. taste it and let me know :)
