Mackerel Asafoetida Fry

This is a very simple recipe. You can make it very quickly. Provided you keep the fish for marination for 30 minutes or more, which could add to the flavour of fry. People who even hate asafoetida will love this recipe after tasting it ;) 
Ingredients:
Cleaned Mackerel 
1 small tbsp asafoetida powder
Red chilli powder as per your paste consistency
Lemon juice
1 tbsp turmeric powder
Rawa for coating the fish
Salt to taste
  • Marinate the fish by mixing well with Chilli powder, asafoetida powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt.(keep for 30 mins).
  • Coat the marinade with rawa, and deep fry the fish till done.
  • Serve along the meal.
