This fry is very simple. Most will love it, as you can also have it along sambar/dal combo with boiled rice. Its very crispy and can be stored in air tight dry container and kept for a week. I love the Bolanjir fry. Hope you too love it!!
Byadagi Red Chilli - 20, Tamerind small pulp, 1 tbsp jeera, lemon juice- 1/2 -- Grind these all ingredients into a fine paste adding consistent water to make thick paste.
Clean the Silver Fish (Bolanji) and marinate it in the paste , add salt to taste and keep aside for 10-15min
Coat the marinated fish in rava and deep fry.
Serve hot along fish curry/sambar combination with boiled rice.
Note: Gently drop the rava coated fish into the frying pan so that the rava stay well coated along the fish.
