Esona ambat(konkani) Kingfisher curry


Esona ambat(konkani) Kingfisher curry... spicy with ginger & green chilli pieces added along gravy... moms spcl.....
This is a very quick fish recipe.... fish takes only 2-3 mins to cook... ;)
I jus love it along steaming boiled rice!

Grind 1/2 roasted coconut, roasted 8-10 red chillies, roasted 1 big tbsp coriender seeds, tamarind pulp, tarmaric powder to fine paste...
  • Bring the masala to boil , add water accordingly to the gravy,salt to taste...
  • When it is boiling well add finely chopped ginger and 2-3 half slit green chillies..then add the cut fish pieces.
  • Cook only for 2 min as fish take less time.. then garnish with fried onion...
